4. How We Share Your Information

We will disclose the existence of such partnerships where relevant to your use of an embedded version of Careful.
Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Careful, our users, or others.
Business transfers: if Careful is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or dispute resolution obligations.
Content you submit to the AI assistant may be processed by our third party AI subprocessors in accordance with their own data handling terms; we work to limit retention by these subprocessors to what is necessary to provide the service.
